A five second habit that can change your life.
I recently read a book called "The 5 Second Rule" by Mel Robbins. The premise of the book is that if you have an impulse to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds or your brain will kill the idea.
We have a predisposition to talk ourselves out of an idea and to give ourselves reasons or excuses not to do what we need to do, in order to get where we want to get. If you act upon that idea or impulse within 5 seconds, by counting 5-4-3-2-1 and doing it, you can beat your mind's impulse to make excuses.
It is such a simple concept! But many things that make people successful are!

We can make a list of a million reasons why we cannot make it but ultimately, if bringing this breakthrough technology to the world, impacting peoples' lives, and/or changing your financial situation is important enough to you, then you will find a way.
Investing in yourself is the greatest investment you can make. At the time that I went to my first convention, I didn't have the money, I didn't have the time, I wasn't sure what I'd do with the kids... BUT I knew that if I didn't start making some radical changes, I would never see any radical changes in my life.
Sounds obvious? Well it was transformational. I started making DIFFERENT decisions than the fear-based decisions that had led me to a life of struggle. I started asking myself, what would Trish Schwenkler have done when she was starting out? What would a Dan Doyle do? Because it's not an accident that they have been successful. It is the compounded result of continuing to make good decisions; different decisions to the ones people make who get left behind.
If you're not already comming to Las Vegas global convention, I challenge you this week to spend the entire week thinking as if you ARE going. Start planning HOW you might be able to do it, and stop wondering IF you should.
Incredible things happen when you cross over the line of indecision and activate your faculties of possibility thinking. And it only needs to take 5 seconds to cross that line. Go for it, accept the challenge:
